BUILD Your Own Flags!

This is a Good News and a Bad News Answer:
Yep - I am the only one I know who has made 360 deg wind indicator.
That’s the Good News!
Do I make them as a commercial venture – Nope.
That’s the Bad News!
Will I help anyone make their own – Yep.
That’s the good news!
Go to ‘The Wind is Not Your Friend’ and click on Wind Flags.

This might give you an Idea on how to build your own Flags and Indicators.
You will learn more about the wind by building and testing your own Flags or Indicators then you will by using someone else’s!!!

Doug,

A 360 deg wind indicator, I’m intrigued.
Do you have a photo??

I believe H.L Wickham had the first 360 windicator, he just gave it a different name. I owned 2 of them, but he doesn't built them or flags anymore.

True Fiddler, Howard sold lots of 360 windflags. However Bill Myers had the first 360 flags I think. At least before Howard's.

Steve,
I forgot about the ones HL made. I made my 1st ones in 2003 and I think HL didn't start making them until 2005.

Hi Doug.

Your bandwidth has been exceeded :)

Thanks for the Heads Up on Bandwidth! It's back up now.

I have always believed in the basic premise “There are no Free Lunches” so my Websites and Scoring Programs have been my way of paying back to Rimfire Benchrest for all the “Free Lunches” it has given me.
