Re-use Bullets

How do you guys feel about re using bullets that have been pulled. I was doing a little more ladder testing and things started to get a little warm, so I didn't shoot my last 2 groups (10 shots) I pulled the bullets, saved the powder, and re-sized the necks back down. The case is a 300 wby .330 neck, 210 Bergers, .322 bushing, so my brass is turned down to .010. I use one of those Davidson plier style pullers from Sinclair. There is a scuff all the way around each bullet from the case. I don't see any marks from the puller.

Do I use these bullets for fowler's?

Do I use them for practice?

Do I not care and just mix them in with the rest of the box?

Do I throw them away?

Ok

I do pull and reuse bullets from the too hot ladder top "overloads", but as I don't shoot in any competitions my level of need for accuracy is about 25MM/100M. With that level of in-accuracy I have yet to pick the difference.

Shoot better

Pulled bullets

With the price of components nowadays, don't throw anything away. Practice like it was a match. Don't mix them with your other bullets they may not shoot with the rest. Use them as preliminary fowlers. At shorter distances you may not see the performance difference in pulled bullets but at long range you will.

Never not ever no no no! If I pull them they are used for foulers or to break in a new barrel.:D

I can remember shooting a score match using pulled bullets in brass with 22 loadings on it. I didn't have any Match ammo loaded so I thought what the heck I'll just shoot the practice stuff.
Shot a 250-21X which pretty much told me it was just as good as the "Match Ammo". It seems my doubts were all in my head.

Also the best group that I've ever shot at 600 yards was with practice ammo in unsorted or weighed cases with 19 loadings on it. Go figure!

Pulled Bullets

With what I've got tied up in accurate shooting, why would I want to find out? For what their worth why find out? Toss em' lest they get mixed up with your "good" bullets.

Tod,

The plier and collect type pullers that I've tried left scuff marks on bullets which I definitely would not use in a match. However I switched to the Quinetics inertia puller, fitted a small piece of heavy felt in the nose to catch and prevent damage to the meplat. Foam rubber will get stuck in the meplat.
If you have properly cleaned and chamfered the inside of the case necks I have found the pulled bullet will be in the group. I use this method on 300 WM,6PPC, 6BR.
