Re-barreling a Ruger No.1

I have a Ruger No1 in 45-70. Because of shoulder problems, I’d like to re-barrel to a 6.5 or 308win. The stock is beautiful and like new. What all is involved and cost ? I would think the extractor would need to ne changed. Any knoweledgable advice. Sorry if this has been posted here already.

Pretty much a straight forward job. It would be extra for the drill and tap on the four scope mount holes and exteractor cut. The extractors are available from Ruger and interchangeable Email me if interested: Jkob60@msn.com
