I want to develop a load for my 22-250 AI shooting Sierra 65gr Game master. I wonder how Re#22 would fit into the equation?

Tried it with 69SMK

I tried RE22 with 69 SMK in my 1:8 twist 28" gun. So so results. Worked better with the 75 AMax and 80 SMK. RE-22 was not as good as IMR 4350 or IMR 4831 with the 75-80s. IMR 4831 was my best powder with them. My best powder with the 69SMK was IMR4007SSC. Holy smoke you can launch some bullets fast with that stuff. Great RSD and accuracy. Never tried a bullet lighter than 69 gr.

If you send me a P.M. with your email, I'll send you some load data.

If you can find any around since it's just been released Reloder 17 might work well for you. It's got small granules, and high density for short magnums, with a burn rate about like the various 4350's from what I've heard. One place here had some about 2 weeks ago, but when I was in there a couple of days ago they were out. :(

Results of todays trip to the range

Shooting a Cooper Model 22 in 22-250AI after market BBL ( 26" Rock River 5R 8" twist) 44.9 grs of H4831SC produced an average MV of 3,600 pushing Sierra 65gr Game king gave me a 1/2 " group at 100yards off sand bag and rear rest. Might add with that specific model Cooper I have, A shooter has to rest that forearm over the sand bags right at the checkering are you'll have a group that looks like a mini buck shot pattern. Also fired 55gr Sierra Blitzking in front of 44grs of WW-760 that produced 3,900 average and under 1/2 " group. Now for a curve ball Gunsmith that installed this after market BBL had a 2nd chance to run a bore scope.( After I shot Aprox 500 rnd through it) He mentioned I have sever throat erosion. But its still shoots great for a sporter weight BBL.

On Reloder 22

Good day Worker, Haven't had a chance to talk to you for a while. Hope you havent lost your sense of humor. Reloder22 shoots pretty good in my Ruger Swift. With 63g Sierra SMPs and 44.5g and CCI250 primer I get .3" 3 shotters at 100yds for 3424fps. I like it better than 2213sc because it allows me to seat my bullets deep so they fit the magazine, where as short cut will only shoot right out on the lands in my rifle any way. Here is a bit of humor to brighten your day. The other night I was browsing another accuracy forum and there was this guy who said he likes having sex wearing his safety glasses and hearing protection. I sent him a quick post asking if it was a private thing or did he have a partner? How do you like that one. Reguards Murphy.
