ranges close to Long Island NY

I'm looking for a range close to Long Island NY that goes out to 300 & 600yds.
I know about the one in Calverton but it's the wild west out there.

Just kiddin man i do feel sorry for yall and the rest of us. Yall have to suffer in alot of different ways than we all realize. Some officials in NY wanted some fiddys and tried to order some from my buddy mark serbu. He refused to sell them to the protectors in NY if the citizens couldnt have em. Bold statement not selling a few truckloads of fiddys but he said it scared him to death having the "authorities" with his guns and the people not being able to protect themselves. Sad situation in some states- its rocking the whole gun industry. Remington has been in ilion for generations and is moving out not counting the countless other mfrs that have been in new england for eons.

shot with a guy from NYC last weekend, showed me his rifle permit.......yes you now need a permit to have a long gun in the city of New York. I look around the country and I see all of the places there are to shoot, but here we get some used up sand pit that we have to share with the city wahoos who all they what to do it hear the gun go off.
looking at retirement in about 7 years and out west is where I'm headed (I hope the wife comes with me :):)HaHaHa)
