Rangeless in Oregon

I live in Oregon about 50 miles West of Portland on the Coast. I have always enjoyed target shooting, hunting, reloading, varmint shooting and love to shoot long range and squezze every bit of accuracy I can from all of my firearms. I am really interested in starting the benchrest game just for enjoyment, comoradery with other shooters and some friendly competition, not to mention furthering my knowlege. The problem is there is only one range (Tri-County Gun Club) that I am aware of that is even somewhat close. The Tri-County Gun Club which is South of Portland is approximately 100 miles from where I live and they have a 600 yd. range. For now I am limited to seting up my own temporary ranges in the coastrange mountains for shooting longer distances.
Does anyone know of any ranges in Oregon or Southwest Washington that have 1,000 yd. ranges. Also I have not found any IBS or NBRSA shoots in Oregon. Is anyone aware of any competitions in Oregon

Thanks for the reply. I am a new member to this website and I am greatly impressed with the members and their willingness to share information and help each other.
