When you set up a range for BenchRest, where do you measure the 100 yards from?

The Front edge of the bench to the target?
Or is there a line ahed of the bench where he muzzle may no pass?

Ted

I think its different from range to range. One range I go to says the end of the benches and some others say the edge of the concrete pad that the bench is on.

Very Simple...NBRSA Rule Book --page 3

10. FIRING LINE. The firing line shall preferably be coincident with the forward edge of the bench, but if it is to the rear of that line, then it shall be marked conspicuously on the bench.
Most common ?? about benchrest shooting can be found there....Roger

That sort of seems simple, but brings up another question.
Shall the end of the Muzzle be allowed to pass forward of the firing Line???
Or shall the end of the Muzzle stay in an area to the rear of the firing line when the record shots are fired??
