I know it's a long shot (pun intended), but does anyone have information or experience with this Ramshot powder.
Below is an excerpt of email sent to Ramshot for info they had.
My email:
"Several years ago(10+), I picked up one pound of Ramshot powder from a distributor at a benchrest meet. It had a hand wrote label 1710. Must not have went into full production because I can't find any info on it. Any information you could provide would be helpful."
Ramshot response:
"Thank you for your email and interest in Ramshot Powders. The 1710 powder is not TAC powder; in fact it is an OEM powder only available to licensed ammunition manufactures. It is not a canister product. In order to get you specifications for this powder we would need a copy of your FFL 06 license and the lot number for the 1710 powder. Please let me know if you have any questions."
Not sure if I am breaking any rules/laws by obtaining information via other means other than through Ramshot, as I don't have an FFL 06 license.
Thanks.
