Out of buisness

Last I heard, they have been out of business for a while now. I don't know if Ken has any plans of re-starting, but I don't think so. I ended up with a few of there barrels when I was going to school in Trinidad. One of my instructors worked for them at the time.

Back in the 90's, I visited with Patricia at K&P. She was the "P" of the company and her husband, Ken was the "K".

I stopped by their business about 7 or 8 years ago, and was told that they had moved to N. Dakota. Since then, I have heard nothing, so I assume that they are no longer in business. Their barrels seem to be well made, but the barrel business is very competitive. Good shooting...James Mock

I think that it was Peggy Johnson. It has been a few years for me also.
They started in North Dakota if I remember right, then moved to Raton in '96. I helped unload the truck my first year in Trinidad, that is why I remember that. I don't know exactly when they left, but I think it may have been late 2005 or early 2006. I know it was after Skip Talbot died in 2005.
