Redfield

I have a Redfield Aurora 27-60x 80mm armored spotting scope, tripod, and special bag that holds it all in separate bags that I inherited from my late brother. I have not been able to find much of any info on this scope and was hoping some of you could give me a few pointers as to what they originally cost new, what there worth, and where the best place to sell it is.
Thanks much

3 Redfield Spotting Scopes

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Regal 60mm rubber armored with 25x, 20-60x eyepieces, aluminum
carry case, strap, Redfield tripod..
Better than the B&L 77mm Elite series, more late evening light and
much better depth of field.
$450.00 and shipping. Good field pack scope.

Regal 60mm, 45 degree eyepiece, rotating body for variable eye
position, red color, non-armored, 25x, 20-60x eyepieces, aluminum
carry case
carry strap, Redfield tripod. Equal in clarity to a Kowa TSN-821.but does
not have that great Kowa picture window eye relief. It's my "F" class
range scope. Target markings at 1k yards are visible. $650.00 and
shipping.

Top of the top of the line Redfield Aurora 80mm
Rubber armored, single 27-80 zoom eyepiece
integral extendable objective shade, straight eye piece.
Redfield cordura carry case for tripod, window mount, with internal carry
case for the scope.
Only scope I've ever looked thru that I've seen 30 cal bullet holes at
1000 yards.
( late afternoon, good light, buff colored paper)
It's big, and really a waste of optics closer than 300 yards.

$1250.00 and shipping.

Thank you very much, upon further inspection it is a 27-80x 80mm, not the 27-60x I had first thought(darn old age). I had no idea it was this expensive, but knowing my brother he always bought top notch.
Once again, Thank You

.this was the current listing I found that was posted in "96"

Thanks, that's a pretty old post, now all I got to do is find it a good new home with someone who'll enjoy it.

I think that would be "way" too generous! lol
I guess I'll just have to have a friend list it on Ebay or Craigslist.
