Question for So. Cal and So. Nev shooters

We are working on starting 1000 yd and 600 yd Benchrest shooting at Ben Avery shooting range here in Phoenix in 2009. The operators of the range are doing a major rebuild on the 1000 yard range, and it looks like we will have 40 benches at 1000 yds with shade cover (cloth, not metal) and 40 benches at 600 yds with no cover (bring your own).
We will probably shoot once a month year round ( probably on the 3rd or 4th Saturday), and will probably alternate yardages each month for a total of 6 1000 yd matches and 6 600 yd matches each year. We may vary this depending on the shooters desires. We may also shoot 1000 yd every month on Saturday and 600 yds once a quarter on the following
Sunday.
Would like to hear from anyone who might be interested in coming over to these matches and what you would like to shoot. These matches will be a second venue for the NBRSA 1000 yd club now shooting out of Tucson. We will still shoot at Tucson on the second Saturday of each month, and host a second match in Phoenix on the third or forth Saturday. Please let me know your thoughts and desires.

If I have that weekend off, I'll be there. It's about an hour less drive than Sacramento for me. Shot my first 1K match in Arizona[Sahauro]. Learned alot and had a good time.
By the way Dick. Do you still burn people for winning fake wood their first time out?
