Question about using a .260 In a long action

I would like to chamber the .260 in my LA. It's all I have and I'd rather not go the 6.5/284 route. Will it feed Without any problems? If there will be an issue my other choices would be .280 or .284. Any suggestions are welcome.

The 260 will feed fine. You may find it best not to put the rounds all the way back in the magazine, ( assuming you'r talking about a BDL ) but you've got plenty of room there. I've built a few 308's on 700 LA BDL's with no problems.

It should feed fine and have the added benefit of being able to throat it for the heavies and still fit the mag. Not so in a standard Rem. short action.
