I have a savage model 112 low profile varmiter caliber in 25-06 and i was wondering if they made a br or dasher caliber for it. thanks

Tough part is finding BR quality bullets for it. BIB (Randy Robinette) makes some excellent bullets so if you find yourself in the BR or dasher case it will be well worth your while to try his bullets.

I shoot most of the 25 cal cases from 25 BR to 25-06. I have 25 barrels for both my Savage and Rem Rifles.
Now days you can get some quite good bullets. The 25 BR is very good. With the right barrel rifle set up I feel it is equal to the 6 PPC at 200 yards and better at 300. Lower recoil gives the 6 PPC the edge at 100 yards.
If you and not shooting competition the 25's are a lot of fun especially at the longer ranges. I have three new 25 barrels in progress at present for my 40 X BR rifle.
