Q: 6BR R&P w/large rifle primer?

I'm sorting thru my stuff and find a dozen or 6BR R&P brass mixed in with some odd 6BR stuff (getting back into it finally after I finally finished the Sako)..except they look like they have drilled large rifle primer pockets...what the..??
Were they made this way at some point. I think I got them from some gunshow as they were labeled Norma but obviously not.

The saga of BR brass is a twisty path thru time....from the early days (URBR) thru the 7mm and 6mm BR versions from Remington ...to the best of my knowledge ...they all had small primer pokets with large flash holes (with the exception of the URBR's that were NOT drilled) ....the ones you have are modified .....at a gun show you are likely to find em drilled and taped for cannon fuze !!! .....Roger
