Joe Friedrich has put up $150 to anyone that shoots at least a 2500 0X. If more than one 2500 is shot in a match, then the money is split between those that accomplished a 2500. If no one shoots a 2500 at the first match, the prize will increase $50 each match until someone wins.

Joe, we thank you for your support of the shooting sports.

59 shooters registered so far.:D

OK, Thanks Butch

$250 to the first 2500!!! and that will increase $50 each match until someone shoots a 2500.

Dan,

A work commitment will keep me away from your first PSL match but I am excited about what you are doing and would like to support it, I would also like to donate $100 to Joe and Butchs bounty for the first official PSL 2500.

guys just like too tell ya'll that Joe Friedrich is one nice gentelman, never met the man but while I was in the hospital you just would not believe how he helped me and my wife out and James Pappas done the same thing they don't get no better than these two guys.

thanks again guys, Gary

I think its great that some of the guys are stepping up and helping getting the PSL up and running with some contingency prizes. Wish they were around when I shot. But missing is the really BIG GUN guy. He boasts his stuff is the cats meow. Well what about him putting some prize money up for the first 2500 shot with his gun or some thing else. Just a thought.

Pretty sure he did, could be wrong though. But what I remember he put something up if his rifles did something, just not sure how much or what. I am to lazy to search the past threads about this. Maybe you can.

Charlie,

That sounds great. That makes it $350 for the first 2500!!!

Shooters are some of the best people in the world.

Thanks to everyone for helping to get the PSL off the ground.

I HEARD at this years ARA tournament at Crosswinds, Missouri, Bill Calfee put up $1,000 for a 2500, ARA target and he paid the entry fee for one shooter, by draw.

You are correct Beau

Beau

You are correct he did, I was at that particular tournament and it was much appreciated and a very thoughtful gesture. It made the atmosphere at the tournament pretty exciting and it almost cost ol Bill his $1,000. There were two 2450s shot...and at Crosswinds that it quite a feat.

I'd be surprises if other individuals, smiths or companies don't step up to the plate and want to be a part of PSL no matter how small.

Dans intentions are truly to do something exciting for the sport and not just an attempt to line his pocket.

Charlie

Thanks Beau & Charlie...

Thanks for clarifying, guys. Yes, Bill Calfee did make that most generous prize offer, and as Charlie said, a few of those targets were mighty close! As Bill told me, he would have gladly paid up, not just for one of his guns as mentioned above by someone, but any shooter! He couldn't be there himself, so he wanted to contribute to our tournament. We put the entries in and drew at the end of the tournament and Brian Brandt won the entry fee paid by Bill. Bill catches a lot of flack from some, but from our camp here at Crosswinds, we'll tell you, he's one class act and a great friend !:):):)

And to Dan Killough, I sincerely wish you the best of luck with the PSL. I see a lot of interest generating and I'm sure it will be a success!:)

Thanks again, Bill, for all that you've done, both here and for the RF sport. Even though I can't participate in the PSL, I know from being a RF shooter how much everyone appreciates the generous contributions by all.
