I'm looking forward to my first visit to Fairchance. Hope to see lots of shooters on Friday. GPS should get us there. I booked a room about ten miles away. Any ideas for good restaurants? bob
 
depends on what you like bob. there's 2 restaurants within 2 miles of the range that
are both pretty good, mom and pop type places. there's alot of good places around,
if you have a gps tell me what you like and i'll program it in for you when you're here
if you like. tom.

Could you make some hotel/motel recommendations?

I've looked in Union town and Morgan town but would appreciate a locals opinion.

i have stayed at the holiday inn in uniontown myself, it's
pretty nice at 724-437-2816.
i just checked though and Karlynn Motel still had 4 rooms
at 43.60 total price and it's just 2 miles from the range, a nice clean place.
phone 724-437-9885 it's hard to beat no breakfast but we're having breakfast at the range.
 
Only 3 rooms left at the Karlynn. I changed my domicile for the weekend thanks to the note above. Can't beat a two mile drive to the club. bob
 
glad to help guys, i guess a few others are staying there, i never have
but the centerfire guys always fill it up when they come in.
 
we're putting up target boards wednesday night so anyone should be able to practice
thursday and friday, i guess dan's planning on being here wednesday night late. that's
a long drive, i've done it a few times.
 
Dan killough pulled in about 7pm tonight, pretty tired. it should be clear weather for a
few days, it was dead calm this evening.
 
looks like we'll have a good turnout, already had around14 at 2pm. dan did
bring in some black box but not cases and cases, some tenex and a bunch of
team. charlie scott showed up at noon with a truck full of lapua. should be
interesting. we might get lucky and just get rain in the evenings. nice and breezy
today. i might even get lucky and not come in last.
