Has anyone read the article on Lot #s in this months issue? Is this guy testing 10 year old ammo or what? He says that the Eley ammo did not have lot# on them. Some of these articles are something else these days. Maybe I missed something?????

I wondered about this myself. If he can find the lot # on lapua it should be pretty easy to find the lot # on Eley.

I saw that article, I just dismissed it as useless much like other stuff I read in magazines about rimfires. It's a shame they wasted good space printing that. On the other hand I enjoyed Hoke's article on the Piney Hill shoot and barn, and Bill Calfee's article on barrel threads. I think that was one of Calfee's best.

you are right I enjoyed Hoke's article very much. A true Southern Gentleman, Hoke has a way with words that make anything he writes a pleasure to read.
