Protecktor rear bag repair

I have a modified "dr" bag from prtoecktor, the Shehane model. I noticed today that some of the stitching is coming undone on one of the cordura ears and is leaking sand. Can this be repaired? i called Protecktor today but the lines were tied up and I have not heard back as of yet. What do you folks think? Can this be re stitched? has this happened to any of you? chris

I would look at something a tad more flexible than super glue, maybe a urethane, if you went the glue route. I guess it would depend if it was leaking in the track or outside.

In any case, wouldn't it be a bugger to have to empty all that sand out for it to be stitched - then to fiddle a fill again!

I had a ear come unstiched on a bag during the last target of the 600 yd. IBS Nationals and tried to get it stitched locally but no one would touch it. I called Protektor Model and they had me mail it to them for repair. They returned it repaired the following week at no charge. They are great folks to work with and I am sure they would be happy to fix your bag.
