Charles,
According to the on line NBRSA Rule book the following is what can be charged for match fees, this information can be found on page 35 of the online NBRSA rule book,
F. TOURNAMENT PROCEDURE.
1. REGISTRATION. All competitors at every Registered
Tournament shall be required to be a member of NBRSA
(effective 1/1/98), must complete a registration form, and must
produce for inspection a current membership card. If any
member shall fail to have with him/her his/her membership
card, he/she shall pay or have paid on his/her behalf, the
current NBRSA membership fee And, upon proof from the
NBRSA records, that he/she was a member in good standing
on the date of the tournament, a refund shall be made to
him/her. Any non-member may pay the prescribed annual
dues at any Registered Tournament and become a member of
NBRSA. New Shooters may shoot their first match without
being an NBRSA Member (beginning January 1, 2006).
2. REGISTRATION FEES.
(a) Club Fees. Each competitor shall be charged (or have
paid on his/her behalf) a registration fee for each day in which
he/she participates. As of January 1, 2005, the maximum
amount that may be charged is $40.00 per day. No Club may
charge more than a total of $40.00 per day and this will be
strictly enforced.
(b) National Championship Tournaments Registration
Fees are to be $40.00 per day maximum (as of January 1,
2005), regardless of the number of classes or stages fired in 1
day. No Club may charge more than a total of $40.00 per day
and this will be strictly enforced. Every competitor (with the
exclusion of the Junior shooters) at any NBRSA National
Championship Tournament will pay a "Trophy Fee" (to help
offset the cost of National trophies). These "Trophy Fees" are
to forwarded to NBRSA Headquarters by the Host Club.
Varmint, Sporter, and Unlimited shooters will pay $10.00 each;
while Hunter and Long-Range Varmint will pay $5.00 each;
and .22 Rimfire shooters will pay $2.00 each.
This information can be found on NBRSA web site by looking at the current on line rule book on page 35. If memory serves me correctly the fees that a range can charge has gone up and may be a maximum of $50.00 per day. Hopefully we will soon have registration forms available and know exactly what the match fees will be and the dates but one would not expect the match fees to be more than $50.00 per day for a total of $200.00 to shoot both 600 and 1000 yard National events. The F Class/Benchrest I have no idea what it would be as I have no desire to shoot it in the middle of a benchrest nationals. I spoke with Gary Childs and the benches and relay will be drawn on Tuesday before the 600 yard Nationals starts on Tuesday.
If there are only two relays relay one will shoot on the first relay the first day and the second relay the third day, with the second relay just the opposite. If there happens to be 3 relays this is where things start getting a little tricky and this may not be the final word yet. All shooters will draw their benches before the match and on the first day relay 1 shoots relay one, relay 2 shoots relay 2 and relay 3 shoots relay 3. The second day relay 1 will shoot relay 3 and will not elgible to redraw for benches on the second day. Relay 2 and relay 3 will draw for benches and will either be on relay 1 or relay 2 so depending on what relay is drawn on the first day you may or may not be elgible to draw for a bench on day 2. My understanding is that benches will be drawn for both 600 and 1000 yards seperately with no carry over of bench assignments between the two events.
