looking for a rem mod 37 or win 52 in abt any condition for a project gun,wanting a repeter of good quality and not a CZ
Anyone have any comments on the new XIII actions?
Any help would be appreciated

Hey! I shoot the new XIII but not the reapeter. I could not be happier. It is smooth,stout,& very well made with great features,..but then...........Mine was incorporated into a rifle built by the Best RFBR gunsmith that ever lived. And I Aint talkin Calfee. Your welcome. Ed.

I envy you! Wish I had a Karl Kenyon built RF rifle too!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol. Nothing Better than a Great sense of Humor! Im sure there are some pretty dam good RFBR gunsmith's out there. But only one who IS the Best!
 
Burtona: Just how badly do you want a Kenyon? I could fill your want for the right price.

Sense of humor? That is exactly how Karl Kenyon described himself later in life. I wish I had recorded some of our conversations. And his wife Zoe was even more emphatic about it. bob

I had a 37 and a 52 built by Karl. Wound up rebarrelling both to be competitive. The 52 barrel with his name on it is sill laying here somewhere if you want it.
 
Okay Don: Two can play this game. Mine has the Kenyon name on the action sleeve and trigger. Barrel says K&M and has dog knots on both ends. Oh ya it is a 37. bob

Can't top that but my 37 was built by Karl for Lones Wigger. I don't have it anymore anyway. That puts it in the same class as the "fish that got away". It can be as big as I want it and nobody can prove otherwise
