I have a 30BR S F/L die set that gives me some ugly marks on my brass, and it is not as easy to work with as I suppose it should. I have been in contact with technical support at Reding before, and the service have been exelent so I thought it be better try asking them what to do about it. Now I have been sending five-six e.mails to techline@redding-reloading.com, but I just get a return saying it can not be delivered.

Does anyone know how to get in contact with them, preferably another e-mail address.

rflshooter..he is in NORWAY!

Thank you.
I would survive the call, and I guess I might do that. While am at it, I will let you se a picture of the brass and maybe you will tell me your opinion on this..

From the looks of the brass, the problem may be in your chamber, not the dies. :(

If you are concerned about the bright shiny rings about 3/8" below the body/shoulder intersection, that irregularity is a groove in your chamber!!

Redding is a small locally owned firm. They may be closed for a few days. They will make it right if the problem is theirs. Patrick Ryan is their chief tech person.

I agree that the problem is in the chamber and not the dies. It appears that the chamber wall is scored and the brass has flowed into the scored marks and the die has ironed the raised portion of the case back into specs. It's really not a big problem. As you can see the marks are not on every case to the same degree which appears as if there were three different loads fired.

Got an email from them today regarding an issue I had with a powder measurer. I have always had great customer support from Patrick!!!

Thank you all for your respond. I found out by good help from Marsha Williams that Redding has another e-mail address for us people further away. I understand that everyone agree that this must be from my chamber, and I think I will just forget about it.
I got I fine answer from Redding whit the same conclusion, with an advise of just to forget it if the rifle shoots. It sure shoots better than me, so until I can define its real potential I will forget it.

I just got my 07 FFL, I am going to do accuracy type gunsmith work in my business, I wrote redding and sent them a copy of my FFL. I would like to stock dies in some of the wildcat reamers I own to sell to customers. redding pretty much told me to buy them from Midway.

Now I know they USED to sell to gunsmiths at wholesale because I ordered Redding dies from my gunsmith, and the more he ordered the better price he got.

reddings pricing is based on your annual sales..it is a stepped program.
i have been a redding dealer, they were not lying to you. it is often cheaper to buy from the midway than from redding. its all about volume...you and i dont have it ...midway does.

they were actually looking out for your dollars when they said that.

it would be nice to get the same pricing that midway gets...but there is no way i'm even close to them in sales.

Oh I have no illusions about getting cheaper prices than Midway. But they seem to be the Microsoft of firearms and firearms accy resellers.
