probably a dumb question

i have a grove that looks like a dove tail on the bottom of my target stock. i bought it used and have no clue what the grove is. any help would be appriciated here is a pic

The groove is where a handstop would attach to the stock for a sling in position shooting. look at Targettalk or smallbore us for further info.

Well I call it an accessory rail and it'll hold all sorts of stuff. I set mine up with a combination handstop/bipod for field use.

thanks. the reason i ask is i was going to try and attach a bipod to it. is there somwhere i can go to find accessories for it?

I've bought t-nuts and stuff from Brownell's/Sinclair. Also Midway tends to carry some stuff. I actually disremember whereall I've picked stuff up.

I work behind the counter of the shop several days a week and I have heard it all. (mabye)
