Primer catcher for a Harrells press?

Has anyone devised a primer catcher/mechanism for a Harrells press?

Sorry, I should have been more specific, I am talking about the regular compact single stage press.

I am afraid the cuffed pants and sandals is about the best I can come up with also.... ;) :D:D

The Lee Classic Cast press (cast iron) has a hollow ram with a stub turned on the bottom end. Primers just fall thru and into a plastic tube that slips over the stub. Simple and effective. I bet, if the ram is large enough, in the Harrells, you could drill a hole thru it and do the same as the Lee. No muss no fuss.

Can you post a picture of it?

Don't know how to post pics. Probably could go to Lee's site and get the pic. Their Classic Cast is a big sucker and you never get any spent primer crud scattered around. The RCBS Partner has a hole part way thru the ram but it dumps the primer out the side where it bounces around and also primer crud gets on the ram. They could just have drilled the hole all the way thru.

Should I mention that I deprime with that utterly cheap, absolutely non-precision little pot cast Lee press that tosses the primers into the hollow body of the "C"? I have it set on my bench with a hole drilled thru it with a tapereed lead & a powder bottle cap which is screwed to the bottom of the bench.

The primers drop straight into the bottle which I empty every 10,000 or so primers when it gets ¼ full.

I use a GP depriming die & don't get crud anywhere near my good dies or press.

John,
I just bought one of those little Lee presses and mounted it on an app 4" square piece of 1/4" alum plate for use at the range. I had envisioned using it for seating bullets for cartridges that I don't have a Wilson seater for and for some sizing chores. I think I will start taking my Lee depriming die to the matches with me and do it your way to avoid pumping primer crud down the bore of my Harrell's Combo press. That is the only area of the Combo press that I am disappointed in.

I did chuck up the Lee press in my lathe and turn a flat on top of the threads so I get a square lock up with my dies that have the Hornady lock ring.
