Pressure Testing Loads

Hello all, finally decided to register and ask this question. A friend and I are getting into some action building and would like to start testing pressures of different loads. We are both machinists and have a design for a testing rig, but don't have anything to test actual pressures. What would it take to get started in being able to do this? Is there specific software and tools out there to do this that are available to the general public? We're hoping to stay under $400 if possible. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks, Josh.

We use the NATO standard Kistler 6215 gage at the casemouth location for all chamber pressure testing. We use the same gage for port pressure. It is rated for up to 85,000psi in normal testing. We use LabView for software. Niether is cheep.

Great, that is exactly the kind of information I was looking for. The Pressure Trace system sounds like the tool we need to invest in. Thanks for the help, Josh.
