The latest issue of Precision Shooting magazine arrived yesterday and provided about 5 hours of pleasant relief from the TV talking heads Obama orgasmic gushings!
This magazine has one big fault, which the esteemed Editor(Dave Brennan) and Publisher(Dr. Richard Maretzo) should address immediately - it's way too thin !!!
I couldn't find any of Dick Wright's Jackpine Savage tales, either.
Ideally, each issue should contain at least 1000 pages, instead of the 114 in the September issue.I'd gladly pay the extra postage for the thicker issues.
As an old geezer who has taken up benchrest shooting late in life ( because I can't run up and down the mountains like I used to),I've been trying to satisfy my hunger by accumulating back issues.
Now,I'm anxiously waiting for the October issue- only 29 more days until I get my next "fix".

Yup Ron,

PS and this board are still the definitive source for real info from real shooters.

Thicker PS?

Each month PS has one or two articles on a few pages from which I learn something about ballistics or gunsmithing. How many pages of valuable information do I get from reading Guns and Ammo or American rifleman or (name any other gun rag). Answer: zero. I don't really want a thick magazine if it's filled with ads for ATVs, camo underware, knives, and moose calls.

If more "precision shooters" could or would write articles maybe more information would be shared and PS would be thicker. Until then thank you PS for digging up and publishing what little information there is.
