Powder question

I have some cans of powder that the can has rusted & tainted the powder, Will this hurt the gun ???

I doubt that it will hurt the gun but you are apt to get erratic ignition or duds. I'd just sprinkle it on the lawn or sparingly around the roses.

It would seem to me that coating the interior of your barrel with fine particles of rust, and driving them into the surface at high pressure would promote corrosion, even in a so called stainless barrel. I would never shoot rusty powder.

Get rid of it. I've heard that when the surface retardants on the powder decompose, they can appear rusty.

My bushes have never looked so good as when I started reloading.
