Powder prices

Brunos has some powders. VV 133 is $740 for 12 lbs. inc shipping and hazmat. That's $61.66 per pound. Ouch! Other powders such as Bullseye and Unique are $58 a lb. Glad I'm not using VV 133 and have tons of Bullseye,Unique, LT32, LT30

yep look on line for local powders...50 per pound or more for COMMON powders.

$70/lb is a penny per grain or close to $.30/round in powder for a PPC round. I think primers are running pretty close to $.30 too and bullets pushing $.30? That $.30 price is coming up too often for coincidence. Add a little bit for brass costs and the tab is getting close to $1.00/round. Not enough to kill competition but maybe enough to make some people think about the number of practice/sighter rounds they let loose.

About 15-20 years ago, I think the prices were close to $.09 for powder, $.012 primer and $.16 bullet or around $.30/round including brass.
