A one armed friend developed a similar device in function but somewhat more simplistic. He cut a piece of foam rubber the same size as his loading block and glued it to the bottom. Pushed down on the foam to move a case under the drop and when he let go, the foam jammed the case into the bevel of the drop tube...voila!

I just mounted my powder measure higher and fitted it with a longe drop tube.

A version of Ockham's Razor
Yep that's what I did put a longer tube on the funnel. Our approach is really a derivative of Ockham's razor. In that the simplest answer is often the correct one. In this case the simplest solution is the easiest and quickest one.
