I am going to be loading a Win 284. What powder would you recommend?

Go to 6mmbr.com and read the article concerning Reloader 17 and the .284 using the Berger 180 VLD. At least German Salizer likes the RL17, I suspect you will to.

I don't shoot the 284 but I find that 4831SC is a solid performer in cartridges of similar capacity.
However the bullet weight will really help narrow down the powder.
Light bullets could use a good dose of 4350 and heavier bullets could use 7828. If you shoot various bullet weights their will be no 1 best powder for all.
