would like to know powder or water capacity of 6.5-284 Lapua vs. reformed Winchester.Any one know?

I believe John Hoover uses (used?) reformed Win .284 brass. You might get up with him. But he used factory-boxed brass, felling it was much better than the current "bags."

No real difference

I have shot both in my NRA any/any-any/iron rifles and actually like the winchester brass better. 48 to 49 grains of H-4350SC and 50 to 51 grains of H-4831SC get you about 2950 to 2975.

I've searched the internet and cain't find the answer. Yes John H. does shoot Winchester and sometimes he shoots Lapua in F class, but he doesn't know the answer, however he does reduce powder charge with Lapua.
I did find that Norma has 68.33 grs of water. I shoot Lapua brass but Hodgdon data is for reformed Winchester.

I posted some incorrect info ealier and had to delete it.

I don't have any LAPUA cases but I did measure a Norma and an old WW SUPER.

FWIW, the WW held 65.5 grains of H2o and the Norma held 64.4.
