Possible virus threat

I think some hacker is playing this forum...

I suggest anyone getting a message suggesting they look at any video simply ignore and delete it.​

I just got and deleted a dozen identical PMs with the same title as the earlier one that said that it came from Ulrik from Alinwa. Have any of you gotten any that said that they were from me? I went to the page, but didn't update the software or run the video. I have two computers, and I am running a full scan on the one that I was on earlier when I clicked on the link.

I have just received another 12 pm's ... from Francis.

somebody upload a video with on utube. you should see. (and the link)

It would appear some computers have been bit.
 
I just deleted 15 from Francis and Alinwa that were all the same. Fortunately didn't try to look at the url. Couldn't figure out why either of them would send the identical message to pm multiple times.
 
I had 25 PMs from FBecigneul Super Moderator..

My Virus software identified it as a virus and blocked it.

unwanted messages

Just checked my private messages and looks like I received the same the rest of you have been receiving. My Virus Scan indicated an unwanted program had been downloaded and isolated it. More details to follow.

Went into my Virus Scan log and it appears as though a potentially unwanted program tried to come into my system. My warning read: 'GenericPUP.z'. It pays to have protection when you are on the net.

Mine read the same as yours and my Virus software blocked it too. Looking at my log it was classified as: 'GenericPUP.z'.
