I want to thank you and Peter for your efforts in conducting a very well run match. The only suggestion I have would be for Peter to get a long stick and whack the old, deaf shooter to get his attention. Thanks again Carl Hansen

alinwa got the second relay ;)

his gun shot wicked good though

thanx huge, Cody and Peter.......great match.

clarification,

When I say that "alinwa drew the second relay" I meant that while alinwa's GUN was capable, alinwa was NOT! ((( I would have had a chance in a trigger-pull though! )))

I kept all fifteen of the other shooters from coming in last, in both classes, that is a first for me. But we had fun and will do it again. Great group of people run and shoot this match. And only an 8 hour drive, each way, for me.

I'm sorry to be late in this. Somehow my post thanking George and Eric for helping out behind the scenes got lost in space........ I'm guessing that I wrote it up and hit preview but not submit. I guess if it does pop up then George and Eric Stanton consider yourselves thanked twice ;)

You guys who do the hard work behind the scenes deserve credit, without you the show would not go on.....

George quietly kept some of us wandering souls on track and Eric was just THERE for everything.

Thanx,

You'se guys ROCK!!!!

Ohhh Yeahhhh, and you too McMunn :D thanks for protecting us. It's been great meeting you and I'd like to get your 6X47 reamer spec's......still a lot of work to be done with this case. I have a sneaking hunch that Van Beek's gonna' be running one come August.

Eric Stanton

Like Al Said..thanks for you help! Its nice to have some people to lean on for support.

Gary..Thanks for the scoring duties

Now when we get this longrange stuff fiqured out we might try some short range stuff:eek:

Thanks for the Help!

Cody count me in if you start short-range stuff!!

I've got 3 competitive HBR barrels and over a dozen 100-200 barrels. As you no doubt noticed, my current "600yd guns" are both just warmed over HV's. I've had to scramble to get set up for this discipline.....I've even considered trying one of my shortened .308 HBR barrels for 600yds. I've got one with a 27" Krieger that just hurls 112 BIB's into a knot.

But this new 6X47 chambering is working out great....now to get my Heavy Gun up and running  That'll be the one with the Obeche Patriot stock.
