Polk County Gun Club - Monthly Groundhog fall benchrest matches

The Polk County Gun Club located in Columbus NC ( 4 miles east I-26 between Spartanburg and Asheville ) would like to announce another series of bench rest groundhog matches beginning Sunday Oct 5 at noon. The October match will be geared towards hunters. We have awards for all classes. Juniors, hunters, and custom stuff too. All shooting is from the bench. The shoots are fairly competitive and fun, and we have nice prizes. Bring your best rifle. Scoring will be 5 shots at 100 yards and 5 shots at 300 yards with a sight in time prior to each match. Hope you can make it! Sunday Nov. 2 and Sunday Dec. 7 will be our remaining matches this year.:D

Factory or custom stuff all OK.awards for each. Beginners , youth, hunters all welcome.
5 shots at each yardage for score. Group size is tiebreaker.
Any scope no 50 cal. Everything else OK.
Cost is $25 should be over about 3:30pm

Our last 100 and 300 yard match and egg shoot is this Sunday December 7 at noon.
We will have some nice awards. $25 entry fee.
Hope you can make it and support the clubs youth rifle team.
