Plastic Cartridge Case Hold Open Clips

Get some .061 music wire and bend up some of these clips. Holds the lid wide open and makes the case less likely to get knocked over on the bench.

Everyone knows that if the clips are made of the correct weight wire, and the amount of tension holding the lid back is "tuned" correctly; The clip can then be permanently removed, and the lid will "wait for me" to put all of the cases in the box.

Of course the result will be water in the case (especially if done outdoors in the rain).

determining the correct wire weight is easy...but if everyone will put their minds to it they can figure it out on their own.

In all seriousness, its a good idea - how come I didn't think of that? Off to the shop to make clips.

The extra little tweak inward at the bottom of the clip makes the rough cut edge of the music wire dig into the plastic case. This will keep the clip from popping out.

I just discovered that there is a perfect place to store the clip, right in front of the first row of cartridges.
