I don't know if any of you have had trouble with your Plano Air Glide rifle case, but I would like to tell you about my experience. The other day while loading my rifle back into the car I caught the center latch on the edge of the door and broke it into 3 pieces. I went to the Plano web site customer service and filled out the form. Several hours later I had an e-mail stating that Plano was sending a new latch, no questions. no charge! Guess who I buy my next rifle case from . . . .

I have had similar results from Plano and continue to buy their cases. Also had a great experience with Negrini. I bought an upscale shotgun, new in the box, but from very old inventory (90s) that had a broken latch on the Negrini case that it came with from factory of the gun maker. I called Negrini and they asked for a picture of it to make sure that they new which model it was. I sent the picture and got a call back that the case had been discontinued about 10 years prior, but they had one in their New York show room on the display rack and they took a latch off of that case and sent it to me, also free of charge.

I have 2 Plano Air Glide cases that I received when I bought 2 used bench guns. I had a missing pin and Plano sent me 2 whole new latches for free. They have great customer service, but in my opinion they wouldn't protect a rifle too well in an accident like I had 2 years ago when I totaled my newest pick-up truck on the way back from a state shoot. For some unknown reason I blacked out, hit 2 trees and a telephone pole and flipped it on the drivers side. My benchgun with a March 10-60 Tactical was in the back of the bed and so was my rest. I had a new cap on the truck so both the rifle and the rest bounced around and the cases had some gouges in them. Thank Christ I had them in 2 separate Pelican cases and the rifle, rest, and somehow me all came thru undamaged. Had that rifle been in one of those Air Glide cases, I guarantee the outcome would of been one damaged scope and rifle.
