Pinnacle Mountain Results from 4/24/10

Our first match of the season went off without too much of a hitch other than for that typical Pinnacle Mountain breeze which this time was blowing at between 10 and 20 MPH. The day started out a bit on the cool side with temps running right at the freezing mark, but quickly warmed up into the high 50’s under a bright and sunny sky. And the Black Flies were as expected being relentless, and endless, and not seeming to mind the taste of bug spray one bit. I'll tell you, they were all well fed by days end, that’s for sure.

You did good Michael you were biting at our tails the whole way.

Maybe it was my imagination but the conditions seemed harder than usual at Pinnacle. I had a tough time finding a shootable condition.

I forgot how to shoot when it's not raining I did better in the wind as it kept the black flys away. When the wind died down they liked me. It was good seeing everyone.
