I want to put a picatinny rail on an action sleeve. The radius of the sleeve is .866. Does anyone know of a specific rail with a base radius close to this dimension?
Thank You.... and don't make fun of the fact that I am shooting an old (very old) sleeved action Clyde Hart .222 rifle. It still castrates flies at 100.

did you look at brownell's inventory ?
they carry rail blanks.

A base with a smaller radius will work fine..just bed it, such as a base for a typical 1.350 action. Not so much, going the other way around, where the base is for an action that's bigger. You could also mill a flat across the top of the sleeve for a flat base..or, one could make a base easily enough, with a more precise fit. Any of these methods will shoot the same.

Thanks Mike
I think I will use the bedding option. I have ordered a rail for a Savage Axis. They have an action diameter of 1.380. I own two lathes but no mill, unfortunately.
