Talked to Harley Baker today. It cooled off a bit yesterday in Phoenix. Only got up to 104. It was 108 the day before. God bless your primers Harley.

Phoenix rising not quite from the fire
Like the mythological creature Phoenix is named after the city is trying to burst out of the consuming but renewing heat of its summer fire. The temperature is projected to drop over the next week. It should be in the high 80's/low 90's for the high and high 60's/low 70's for the low with no rain. It will be partially cloudy to bright sunshine. The humidity will probably be very low. I would guess 30% to the low teens. Bring sunscreen, lip balm and skin moisturizer. A by product of the heat will probably be honor killings, blood feuds, tribal insults and other zany things that nomadic desert dwellers routinely engage in. So dust off your turbans. Practice phrases such as " Your last group was pig offal Oklahoman dog". Don't forget your camel. Tim
