Greetings Shooters!!
OK, brace for it!!! This coming up weekend we are expecting some warmth. Keeping a close eye on things, so far the expected temps for this weekend's 25m Benchrest match is expected to start in the mid to upper 80's at 0700. By the event's end it should only be in the 103 range. Winds are expected to be 5-6 mph. So.. yes tolerable. The winds up there do keep things cooler than elsewhere. But.... just a few hours later it's expected to be around 112-115. Therefore, we are canceling the 100m match. With such high temperatures, we may see Dave Litt in something other than a black polo shirt with a pocket. Show up and see! He may have a bright Tactical Hawaiian luau shirt somewhere. I would pay to see that. Well, actually, not. But i would take a picture and post it on our homepage.
Setup and Practice: 0700
Registration Closes Promptly at: 0720
Match Starts at: 0800 (earlier if we have our $#!t together, so don't be late!)
We will be expediting the scoring process. Just like last time, our scanning took about 7 minutes in between relays. Scoring reconciliation will be done at the end of the match. So, for those that want to boogie, you can exit stage right, just after the last card. ...And still be home in time for breakfast!!!
