Palmetto June Score Match

Jim Wooten

Just Me
Well, it was a wild one at Palmetto again. The winds were more tricky than usual at 200 yards, and no one emerged unscathed. Mike Lucas had a real handle on the one hundred though, with 24 X's.

Once again Jim Hamilton and crew put on a great match, and thanks go out to them for keeping IBS Score matches going in South Carolina.

Winners were;
100 yards
Mike Lucas 250 24X
Ron Collins 250 20X
Jim Wooten 250 20X

200 yards;
Jim Wooten 249 7X
Mike Rippey 246 4X
Ron Collins 245 7X

Grand Agg
Jim Wooten 499 27X
Mike Rippey 496 23X
Ron Collins 495 27X

Humble Henry

How did "Humble Henry" Rivers do? Anyone have complete score lists?
Thanks , HFV

You know conditions were tough when a 496 is 2nd in the grand agg !!!! From what I have seen in the 4 matches at River Bend this year [ 3 CF and 1 RF ] I think that tough conditions are going to be the norm in the SE this year.

Jim,
Good shooting. Was that "Ole Lightning?"
DA

David,

No, that was the same old BAT that Henry barreled for me. I was trying a new load, and it was working fairly well. I may try it again at The Bud since the barrels on both of my rifles are old and shoot about the same, and I don't have the guts to take them off yet :). Decisions, decisions........... :D

See you at Thurmont,
Jim

Humble Henry- blew a tire and crashed and burned. Had a tough day, terrible at 200yds and not much better at 100. One of those days when nothing worked. But maybe next time, really enjoy shooting at Palmetto-Jim and the gang put on a great shoot. Congrat`s to all the winners good shooting on a really tough day.

HUMBLE HENRY:eek::eek::eek:
