Palmetto IBS and Hurricane Hanna

What is the status for the IBS score match at Palmetto this Saturday? It looks like Hurricane Hanna might be passing through the area Friday afternoon or night.

Jim, if you do "SWAGGER", please bring TWO heat shields. Last MSN forcast I saw says 94 degrees for Saturday. 94 degrees plus 100% humidity = a 247 8x. LOL

I still have my motel reservation, but I really think this match will be re-scheduled for a later date. Even if a sudden change of course does happen, the range is very probly still in for a lot of wind and rain. HOWEVER, if something does happen and we are able to shoot, I will see you there!

Official word from Jim Hamilton, Match Director. Match cancelled due to TS/Hurricane Hanna.

We are lobbying Jim for a re-schedule for first Sat. in December. Weather is still good & a good time to be on the range. Will advise.

Thanks for the great support from all the fellow IBS VFS shooters who attend our matches.

It would have to be held by November 15 to count for SSOY, if that is a consideration, and I think it is for several of the regular shooters. Of course if I'm wrong it wouldn't be the first time .
