Dear Dan,
I wish to thank you and the other team members for the opportunity to attend and shoot at the Butner tryouts. It was a rare privilege and Iam grateful. I learned more in a couple of days than in any other year of shooting. I'm basically a spotter chaser so I took the opportunity
behind my spotting scope while shooting to learn from the coaches and
try to see what they were seeing. My great revelation came though while being coached by Sherri. I kept my head down and just broke shots when instructed and shot my personal best and by no small margin either. A session in the headset by Emils' invitation has me thinking that the fast track to my improvement might not even involve a rifle at all! I admire the program that has been created for team selection and development and predict great success.If I had learned nothing at all my time at the tryouts would have been terrific just for the collegiality and fellowship.
Thank you and very best personal regards,
Greg

Hi Greg;
Thank you for the kind words. I am glad you were able to shoot and have a great learning experience at the same time. You shot well and there is no doubt in my mind that you will be on the firing line with us some day at the worlds. It would be great if you could share your experience publicly on our forum at LR.com. and help us spread the word. We want everyone to know that this is an open team and we are here to help build a better US Team not just for the Palma match but for all international venues. Public support like yours can make the difference for a new young talented shooter who is afraid to try out or attend a practice session and may give him that boost of confidence to contact one of us. We need more dedicated shooters like you that will show up even if it's just for the learning experience. That's what team building is all about.Thanks again Greg and it was OUR pleasure having you join in!
Sincerely;
Dan Simpson US Palma Team Vice Captain
