P64 M70 guard screw question

The hard drive between my ears says Winny P64 M70 CRF guard screws aren't 1/4-28.

What's the pitch again and are they the same as the pushfeeds??

Chad,

According to Stuart Otteson's book Vol I, on the pre 64 M70's all three guard screws are 1/4 x 32. Later when discussing the post 64 actions, specifically a 1968, he lists the guard screws as 1/4 x 32 also.

That's why I bought that button die from Brownell all those years ago, along with the ¼ x 22 & ¼ x 30!
