Gentlemen,
I apologize this for being a bit off topic, however, I'm looking for the best source to buy an Interapid 312B-15 Test Indicator(as recommended by Dave Tooley)? I have quite a few 312Bs, however, the 2.75" indicator model seems to never go on sale at enco, msc, J&L(granted that is one group). They are a few bucks off of Long Island Indicator, however, I'm considering buying two, one to indicate the bore in at the chuck and one to indicate the bore in at the spider/muzzle. I realize indicating the spider/muzzle in to this degree is probabely unnecessary. Counterproductive?
Standard .080" Carbide Indicator Ball?
Dave,
Greatly appreciate you going to the trouble of calling me the other evening. When I get the shop setup I hope to catch you when come up to visit your daughter. For better or worse I bought the HAAS TL-1. Appreciate your input as always...
Preston Pritchett at Surgeon Rifles sealed the deal on the TL-1. I'm going to drive out there in a few months and spend a couple days looking at how they have their TL-1 tooled and get a little hands on...fwiw
