Oregon 600 yard match.

You scared me Ron :) It's next Saturday. (Or are you not referring to the Portland match?)

Sorry Al, I just got my dates mixed up, I had it in my head that it was this weekend, good luck next weekend. Ron Tilley

I spent ALL day yesterday trying to put together a competitive rifle for this thing and scrounging up 86rds of brass to preload :( About 2:00 I popped a primer and took out my Jewell trigger... I put in a Timney (poor substitute but the only Rem trigger I had) and got my loads worked up just at dark, got loaded and cleaned up by 9:15 in time to come in and watch a show with my kids......... So I was hoping you were off on the date :)

Thanx for the "good luck", this one's gonna' be ALL about luck for me :D

LOL

Anyway you look at it Al, it will be a great shoot! ANY shoot held locally is good! We'll all learn something from it, and then we can hope to kick butt at the next one. We all start somewhere...................I've shot close-range BR and 1000 yard BR, but never 600 yard. It will be a learning experience for some of us, and I hope it will be the first of MANY local shoots!

Thanks Mark, I agree! :)

Now...........are the pits covered? Like "get in out of the rain" covered? I'm seeing lots of rain in the forecast and ain't NO place as cold as the PNW in the rain.

To all of you out-of-towners, especially the South-of-Towners, dress warm :)

Then bring some extra clothes........

Rain

The pits are kinda covered. You can stand back against the concrete and be out of the rain. During down times you can move back into the cage and its covered.

We shoot all year long in the rain and i have never been soaked at the end of the day.
