Optics recommendations, please....

I'm in the planning process of an F-class type build, and am looking for optics recommendations. Not sure a Nightforce is in the cards at this point, so I'm looking for a quality scope that I can get by with, with a power/reticle combination that will work for this shooting discipline. Would like to keep price under $900, if possible. Leupold would obviously be on the top of the list - others that I should look into?

Thanks!

Weaver T-scopes

I shoot with and recommend the Weaver T-24 and T-36 scoped for F-Class. Love them!

One thing to watch for is the MOA per "click" in the T-24 scopes. They used to be made with 1/2 MOA clicks and are not made in 1/8th MOA clicks. I like the older 1/2 MOA scopes better as the turrets are numbered 0 to 18 MOA per revolution whereas the new ones with the 1/8 MOA clicks are numbered 0 to 4 and then back to 0 per revolution - confusing to an old geezer like me in the heat of a match.

Weaver T-24x

Must be a lot of "changes" with the Weaver T-24s. I have three. One has 1/8 minute clicks and the other 2 are 1/4 minute clicks. Also have Leupolds BR 24x and 36x and while pricier than the Weavers ( a good scope for their cost), prefer the Leupolds. The unlimited lifetime warranty alone is a major factor in my preference for the Leupolds, since I can find them used at not much more than the cost of a new T-24x Weaver. I'm not slamming the Weavers, they are a good scope for their cost, but for the same price or slightly more, a used Leupold can easily be found.
