I have the Cicognani gauge and it is very similar to this one.
It is usefull but all depends on the ammo you shoot.In lesser quality ammo there are bullets with too much offset and these can be sorted out to warm up.
With the high end ammo like R50 it is of no use,these are almost all ok.I measured the lot of R50 I shoot now and in 5 boxes there was 1 bullet with more than 3/100mm offset (which was a 9 when I shot it).With the last eley black I had there were a lot with too much,and the center-x was also ok but not like the R50.
So in practice I don't measure but for a match I do just to be sure.But so do I weigh them and check the rim thickness.
