Glen, Great shooting for a Unlimited match let alone a match class.
Joe, Great shooting another 250.
I have been grinding and polishing my .22 almost ready.
Great shooting everyone.

Looks like our Left-Coast friends had another great evening of shooting!

Man, Glenn, what an outstanding Match Class score!!! Heck, I'm still waiting to shoot something better than a "243" in the Unlimited Class ....and we're shooting both Indoors and Out!

And, Joe, another 250 added to your list of many. That's almost unbelievable! But, with it being you that's rackin' 'em up, I'll simply sit back and be totally awe-struck as you have picked right up where you left off with the rimfires.

Congratulations to all.

Hi

Just been looking at the scores pretty good.

I shoot in the UK and was wondering how you score in relation to .22 against .177 ie do you use a guage to bring everyone up to .22. Our current rules use calibre specific guages(not too happy about that)

Also what power are you running at? We are limited to 12ft/lb max.

What targets do you use?

I shoot to the airgun rules of this organisation http://www.benchrest22.org/home.htm

I have currently gone over to a Daystate Mk3 RT after having a good season last summer using a Air Arms S400 to get an average of 248 in the Hunter class, then trying to buy an even better Mouse Trap with a Steyr LG100 I had a terrible winter one (disaster couldn't track the Steyr to save my life).

Swapped the Steyr for the RT just to get rid of it and was about to try to sell it to fund a new Mk4 like a club member has but tried some JSB Heavies and now have in my opinion an even more accurate gun than my S400 it is easier to shoot and makes more 10Xs. Before switching to Heavies it wouldn't group two pellets together at 25yds now it trully single holes.

Already have a blisteringly accurate Mk3 ST but it isn't standard and is used for HFT shooting and as I have a chance of winning the league I didnt want to convert it back to standard for the bench.

However what is amazing about the RT apart from its accuracy if I do my bit is how little it jets/moves upon firing especially when compared against my Mk3 ST which jets violently in comparrison.

Andy, apologize for the late response. You can go to www.airgunbenchrest.com to read the rules and look at the target we shoot. As far as the plug Ron and Gary designed it which works well for scoring the .177.

Thank You for sharing your experiences with us and looking forward in hearing more. Keep up the great shooting.

Take Care,
Joe
