I'm new to this sport but so far very impressed with the participants. Fellow shooters have been very generous with advice and equipment. And the biggest thanks go out to Joe for providing the fantastic OG venue, scoring, and encouragement!

Wind was quite calm for the first match. For the second match wind started to pick up, and by the third card there were some strong gusts (and switches). I thought the conditions of the third card were the toughest to time and judge. How did this affect the scores?

As a check on this here is a statistical analysis comparing mean scores and STDEV for the 3 cards for the 10 HV shooters:

Level N Mean StDev
card 1 10 244.30 3.27
card 2 10 244.10 4.28
card 3 10 243.30 4.79

>>> Note the mean scores for the first two cards differed by only 0.2 points. However card 3 mean was about 1 point less than cards 1 and 2.

This might be expected in heavier wind conditions, but I was surprised it only dropped scores by one point.
