has any one had the opportunity to try and compare the different one piece rests to what works the best or has anyone gone from delrin top to sand bag top on the pappas and what works better on that rest, thanks
My Pappas rest has the delrin front which is excellent for my fiberglass Edge stock. I acquired a nice 40X with standard target stock, and James sent me a sand bag top with the proper bag to fit this wood stock. So, it only takes minutes to swap out the fronts in order to shoot the one I want at the time. For the wide flat 3" forends the delrin is the way to go, but for the narrower rounder forend stocks you need the sand bag. Regards
Purchased an Allen Hall one piece rest but life has kept me from trying it. I have fixed a Sinclair BR top to fit it just to try because of all the talk.
